How to get to Finca El Péndulo from Guadalajara
Finca El Péndulo is about an hour from Guadalajara airport, near Tepatitlán, Jalisco. Your options: our airport pickup, the bus, or driving yourself.
Finca El Péndulo sits on 14 acres in the highlands of Jalisco, outside Tepatitlán de Morelos. It is about an hour east of Guadalajara International Airport (GDL). Here is how to get here.
Fly into Guadalajara (GDL)
Guadalajara’s Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla International Airport has direct flights from many cities in Mexico, the United States and Canada. Flights are not included in the retreat price, so book a flight that lands on your arrival day with time to reach the Finca before dinner.
Option 1: our airport pickup
The simplest way. A member of our staff meets you at the airport and drives you to the Finca.

You get the driver’s name and photo before you fly. Let us know your flight details once you book.
Option 2: by bus
If you like to travel on your own:
- Take a taxi from the airport to the Nueva Central Camionera, Guadalajara’s main bus station.
- Catch a bus to Tepatitlán. They leave about every 30 minutes.
- Take a short taxi from Tepatitlán to the Finca.
It takes about two hours in total and costs under $30 USD.
Option 3: by car
Search “Finca El Péndulo” on Google Maps. The route uses the toll road most of the way.

What to expect on arrival
Arrival day is quiet. You check in, walk the land and meet the group over dinner. The first ceremony is on the second day. If you are arriving from far away, it can help to land a day early and rest in Guadalajara.
